Ramadan is a very special month for our family. It is an important time in the Islamic calendar, and it is a month that brings us closer to each other. During Ramadan, families and friends spend more time together, and we focus on kindness, patience, and caring for others.
Ramadan is the month when Muslims fast from sunrise until sunset. However, fasting is not only about food and drink, but also about stepping away from negative behaviors and unkind words.
Ramadan is often called the month of compassion and humanity. During this time, we try to help others, take part in acts of kindness and volunteering, and reflect on our behavior, how we can spread kindness, and how we can be better members of our community.
In our family, Ramadan is a time of togetherness. We enjoy cooking special meals together, sharing them at sunset, and wearing our beautiful traditional clothes.
