2025 Fall Fun Run 5K a Success!

Posted in ,

The 2025 Fall Fun Run 5K Trail Run and Family Run was a huge success! About 100 participants took to the fields to run for two great causes this past Saturday. The event brought in over $7700 (before expenses). Proceeds after costs will be shared between the Bloomington Montessori Early Childhood Scholarship Fund and our community partner Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard food pantry.

The 5K, 1-mile, and 1.5-mile routes took runners through fields and forests, over gravel and grass. The leaves were changing all around. The cows of Fowler Pumpkin Patch were curious about what was going on, calling to runners as they passed. The weather was cool; the rain held off. Participants were grateful for the hot chocolate being sold by local food truck The Huddle Grill and Chill!

Thank you to Megan from Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard for joining us to share more about their organization!

HUGE appreciation to Fowler Pumpkin Patch for hosting the event and going above and beyond to help with logistics. Your support makes this event possible!

This great event would also not be possible without the support of our generous community sponsors:

Thank you to Gold Level Sponsors DeLong Rigging Solutions and Fowler Pumpkin Patch!

Thank you to Silver Level Sponsors Smithville and Grease Monkey!

Thank you to Bronze Level Sponsors Btown IT, Paganelli Law Group, IU Credit Union, Andrew Davis Clothiers, Gable’s Bagels, and D. Design House!

Your sponsorships are what make this event possible.

Sponsorships are highlighted throughout BMS social media, mailing lists, and Run Sign-up, visible to the public and sent to thousands of area community members. They are also tagged and shared by our partner organizations. If anyone knows someone who might be interested in being a sponsor for the 2026 race, please contact Jess at assistanthos@montessori.k12.in.us ! We’d love to hear from you.

We appreciate Adrienne from D. Design House for her creative support in designing the run logo and t-shirts. Thank you also to Gable’s Bagels for sponsoring the post-run snack table. This event is a community labor of love, and we are so grateful for these connections.

And lastly, thank you to all the registrants! You are the fuel for the event and we appreciate your participation, financial support through registration, and positive energy!

We hope everyone will join us next year; we are working to finalize the 2026 date soon. Participants have a survey in their emails–we hope for feedback that will help us make next year even more amazing.
