Amanda Stante – Music
The music curriculum at BMS focuses on encouraging the children to explore different facets of music through singing, playing instruments, movement, and active listening to music. The students work together to form beautiful musical ensembles, and are also given the opportunity to share music individually, if they wish. We also spend time in music class preparing musical selections for the annual 6 – 9 plays and the Sycamore Shakespeare play.
Amanda Russo Stante is a doctoral candidate in voice performance and literature at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (receiving her doctorate in May, 2016). In addition to teaching at BMS, Amanda is an adjunct lecturer at IU in the Music in General Studies department, and maintains a private voice studio in Bloomington.
